Jefferson’s seeks highly-qualified individuals to become franchisees. Prior restaurant or business experience, along with personal financial qualifications and self-motivation are important factors in our evaluation process.
The initial fee is $15,000. The franchise agreement is for 5 years and is renewable for an additional 5 years with three renewal options.
Jefferson’s franchisees pay 4% weekly (Gross-Sales tax). As we grow a 2% weekly gross in the future for advertising purposes. The advertising fee will take place in the near future at the owner’s discretion. Decision based on number of existing locations.
A good estimate is $75,000-$200,000. Amounts could be more or less based on restaurant size; build out costs, location, etc.
In our Franchise Disclosure Document we further explain why we cannot provide an earnings claim. Actual results vary based on location, expenses and labor. To learn more about actual finances, we will encourage you to speak with existing franchisees during the application process.
We encourage all new franchisees to gain hands-on experience in our existing restaurants. Training is required in one of our existing stores. Close to opening our training team (franchise manager, experienced cooks and servers) will train your new hires and stay on board during your first full week of opening. We will provide continued support as needed.
No. However, we can recommend sources that have provided financing options to other franchisees in the areas of equipment leasing.
We have final approval of location. Although, we will consider your input. Based on experience we know what it takes to make a Jefferson’s successful. Location, rent, traffic and building appearance are huge components to that success.
Some locations have a few regional items that other stores do not. These must be approved by corporate on an item by item basis. Franchisees can set their own prices with discussion and approval of corporate. Daily Food and Drink Specials are allowed, some fluctuation depending on what is selling regionally.
